Tokyo Disneyland Resort is similar to the United States parks in that they offer allergy menus. These menus can be found online, so you can plan ahead where you want/can eat at the parks before arriving. It is best to also inform the cast members about your allergen; however, since menus are always changing. The menus online are interactive and you can select where you want to eat as well has what allergies you have. The only problem you will run into is that the menus are in Japanese. You can look at this menus on a computer and use google translate for the page. Since the menus are pretty straight forward, these translations are not horrible but double check with a cast member to make sure before ordering or eating.
*Please note that Japan is more lax on explaining what is in the food. If you ask if there is meat and there is no visible meat in the dish, they will tell you no. This does not mean that there is no meat by-products in the meal. Tokyo Disneyland is pretty informative about their food allergy menus, and there vegetarian meals are comprehensive has well; however, if you have any questions, don’t be afraid to ask a cast member for additional details. Cast members are trained to go get the chief is there are any questions.

Guide on how to navigate online allergen menus:
Once you get into the guide, you can use automatic google page translate on your laptop to make the menus English (it will be a little rough). The buttons on the page are interactive images, so they will not translate via google translate. To get to either Tokyo Disneyland or Sea’s menu follow these steps:
1. Pull up this site and use google chrome so that google translate will active. http://fsp.tokyodisneyresort.jp/p/info
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 同意する “I agree”
3. The pink buttons are for Disneyland and the blue buttons are for Disney Sea. The top buttons are for the “low allergen menus” these menus only look at the big 5 allergens. The bottom buttons are the full interactive food allergy menus.
4. If you want/need more in depth food allergy menus, select the bottom button for which park you are visiting.
5. You will be redirected to a new page with a plate on it. The top button lets you search via restaurant and the bottom button lets you search via which allergen you have.
6. From here on, Google translate works well on these pages. If you have any questions or your allergen or food item/booth is not there, you can ask the cast members on site for additional details or to talk to the chief. You do not need to speak Japanese, they will find someone to translate you for if needed.
